In middle childhood, children’s overall demeanor is most closely associated with which of the following?

Dorothy K asked:

In middle childhood, children’s overall demeanor is most closely associated with:

Peer relationships

Scholastic achievements

Quality of relationships with parents

Temperament
Just so you know, I already found the answer in my textbook and all of you are wrong! The answer is #3. Children in middle childhood (from 8-10 years of age) will behave better or have a much better overall demeanor if they have a close, high quality relationship with their parents- a secure attachment.

Peer relationships, middle school kids value friendship most than anything else becaus they are growing up. Parents and grades fall in second ground.

Peer relationships. Adolescents have much pressure from their peers when it comes to clothes, music, friends, and even drugs. This is when their demeanor starts changing and are easily influenced.
