Can friends as well as family attend Army basic training graduation? Is there a limit on attendees?

challman81 asked:

We have a soldier at Ft. Leonard Wood, who graduates from basic training in August 2008. He will be returning for his AIT in June 2009. There are a number of family members planning to attend and several friends that would like to attend. Is this allowed?

I went to watch a friend of mine graduate basic in Ft. Benning. It was outside during the summer and there was no limit on how many people each soldier could invite.

My husband graduates Basic @ FLW July 24, I was told there is not a limit on the number of people who can attend graduation.

I don’t believe there is a limit on how many people can attend.

They don’t check which the attendees are coming to watch which graduate, so there’s no limit.
