I believe a family is a unit of people who love and protect each other no matter what. It doesn’t have to be a mother, father, girl, boy and a dog named Spot..whoever makes up the family is there for each other emotionally, physically, and morally,,,I grew up with such a family, I tried to raise my children with that belief. Both myself and my children were pretty much fatherless, but we grew together and turned out fine.

I am a 38 year old grammi, that has two grown children , , I come from a big family myself and my siblings and I are not all that close but My kids and hubby in our little family are really close I always wanted that because I never had it growning up so it was very important for me to have my immediate family close .I don’t think that there was any disadvantages , But alwasy advantages I am realy close with my two girls they told me everything they were doing growing up including being sexually active, I never wanted them to walk down the same path as me in my life so tried to have open conversations with my girls . hmmm my family…. small but tight knit when i was younger my dad stayed home and mom worked…we scream at each other to argue my parents where hippies and very permissive with rules and such my only curfew was the state curfew my dad is really only my step dad but is the only father i have known i think that families should be you core support system and feel sorry for people who can’t or won’t talk to their parents about anything or everything. the only disadvantage i can think of with my family is my mom dad didn’t really push us and needed to be more parental in some instances instead of letting us follow our bliss cause someone should have bashed me good when i gave up a scholarship to the art institute in Chicago to travel i’m from Illinois(now in Kentucky) and i’m 29

I can’t go to a lots of places but sometimes they let me go out. I’m 13yrs old. My parents argue then they act like all nice later I **** that they do that. Sometimes I don’t listen but I know I will grow up. I have a pretty big family there are mostly boys,but I;am a girl.I have a brother mom and dad. I live in Washington. that’s about all i will tell you.Oh yeah I have a nice family.
