Why is family and work/school more important than social life based on balancing those 3?

Family are people who are related to you by blood so they have a closer bond than friends. Usually shy or quiet kids are more likely to be very outgoing and more happy with family than with people at school. You can do things that seems normal to you and your family but very strange and unusual to your friends. You usually are yourself when you’re around family.
School is FAR more important than friends in the long run. You usually make stupid decisions that effect your grades/school work because you want to be with your friends. For example switching to a class where you have no or little experience with when the class is 7 weeks in. Some people might even drop scholarships or switch to a local college just to be with your friends. By doing this the person is limiting the education and opportunists they could have had if they went to the college they were suppose to go to.

family will there forever, it’d be pretty hard to just leave them, so maintaining a good relationship is important.
school is much more important then friends, it’s your future, so why put anyone above that?
friends… have never been that important to me, so they feel to the bottom in priorities.
